Combinations of 2 models of Palisade 01 & 02, back-to-back, give "table centre" rectangular shaped "forts" with two entrances making them ideal for feudal, medieval, Spanish conquest, and pre-Napoleonic "expanding empires" armies, as well as American West, AWI, even ACW and certain "colonial" theatres. They can be used with rule sets, other than the DBA series, as an additional terrain piece or defensive feature.

Wilderness Series

Table edge encampments for DBA-DBM-DBR-HOTT.

Wilderness 01 represents mixed rocks and shrubs around a low hill.

Wilderness 02 represents a ruined or overgrown building with round tower on the same terrain.

The rock / shrub outcrops can be painted as either style by changing paint colours

Greens = foliage

Greys = granite rocks

Browns & creams = sandstone rocks

making this a very versatile model.

Because Wilderness 01 has no "man-made" features, it works well with all scales from 6mm to 25mm, and the ruins on Wilderness 02 scale well with figures from 10mm - 20mm, although it was designed as a 15mm piece.

Placing 2 x Wilderness 01 back-to-back (as per photo) gives a "table centre" oval shaped hill with a ring of outcrops making it ideal for HOTT armies with druidic units. Wilderness 01 & 02 can be used together in this manner. They can also be used with rule sets other than those above, as an additional terrain piece.

Henge Series

Table centre encampment for DBA-DBM-DBR-HOTT armies, representing an Avebury style henge on a low hill. 12 perimeter stones, central obelisk & altar.

Designed for 15mm, but also work well with all scales from 10mm to 25mm (figures in photo are 15mm).

Use Henge-01 in any period, within suitable theatres, as a hill top scenic piece to add a touch of the unusual. It is especially suited to Western Europe and British Isles scenarios. Imagine recreating battles of the English Civil War with a henge on a Wiltshire or Scottish hill top. For Jacobite Rebellion battles, can you get Bonnie Prince Charlie through the enemy lines to meet Flora MacDonald at the Druidic altar?
