15mm GENERIC HARBOURS RANGE

These models are all designed for 15mm, 

but may also work well with 6mm - 20mm.

The models have been designed for modelers to use their imagination, and modify to create variety.  

Example projects could be, to add mooring bollards, cargo for loading etc..

Painting the models in a grey stone finish makes them suitable for temperate areas.  

Painting sandy stone finish converts them to tropical & equatorial areas, or to sandstone appearance.

Model Specifications  

GHS-P1 Generic Harbour Piers Set - 9-piece

A general purpose, small-town harbour-piers set for use in almost any period or theatre.

It is especially suitable for Colonial, ECW, AWI, ACW, and European Renaissance scenarios, but also fits suitable theatres in any period from Ancients through to Modern.

The piers have a cross section size averaging 28mm wide x 16mm high.

One straight section, the rounded pier-end section, and the 45-degree bend are 14.5mm high and act as a step-down for butting the mole/breakwater set directly onto the piers.  

The set contains -

2 x 75mm straight walls

1 x 75mm straight wall with boarding steps

1 x 75mm straight wall round end with boarding steps

2 x 37mm straight walls

1 x 70mm sloping ramp (use for ramp up from flat table, or as launching slipway)

1 x 60mm 45-degree bend

1 x 40mm 90-degree bend

15mm figures shown to illustrate scale, but are not included

In addition to using this set as a coastal harbour, it can also be used as a river port.

GHS-M1 Generic Harbour Mole / Breakwater Set - 9-piece

A general purpose, small-town harbour-mole / breakwater set for use in almost any period or theatre.

One section is designed to act as both a width & height step-down for butting the mole/breakwater set directly onto the piers.

1 x 75mm straight wall with an outcrop of rocks to one side

2 x 75mm curved walls (approx 30-degree bends)

1 x 50mm straight with steps down from pier height, and narrowing from pier width

1 x 40mm 45-degree bend (approx)

A general purpose, small-town lighttowers / watchtowers set for use in almost every period or theatre.

It is designed to cover almost any period from Ancients through to Modern.

The modular design is intended to be used in the configurations shown below as expansion packs, but can be mixed and matched to suit game play..  

The set contains -

1 x octagonal platform base 50mm square x 12mm high

1 x 37mm round x 18mm high round tower "base"

4 assorted towers with dimensions as detailed individually in the expansion pack descriptions

15mm figures shown to illustrate scale, but are not included

In addition to using this set for a coastal harbour, it can also be used with a river port, or as encampments for rule sets such as DBA, DBM, DBR, and HOTT.

GHS-T1xA Generic Harbour Light Towers Set - Expansion Pack - A

A 3-piece expansion set for the harbour mole set GHS-M1 above.

This expansion set contains -

1 x octagonal platform base 50mm square x 12mm high

1 x 37mm round x 18mm high round tower "base"

1 x generic round tower 28mm diameter x 32mm high with external ladder to roof and a porched doorway

The central, round base has external steps & 4 "firing port" windows

This generic round tower is based on one seen at the end of a pier in a Scottish east coast fishing village, and was the basis of design for this set.

GHS-T1xB Generic Harbour Light Towers Set - Expansion Pack - B

A 3-piece expansion set for the harbour mole set GHS-M1 above.

This expansion set contains -

1 x octagonal platform base 50mm square x 12mm high

1 x 37mm round x 18mm high round tower "base"

1 x generic round tower (Roman?) 28mm diameter x 32mm high with external ladder to roof and doorway.  The roof depicts a "brazier beacon" giving a total height of 40mm for the tower section

The central, round base has external steps & 4 "firing port" windows

GHS-T1xC Generic Harbour Light Towers Set - Expansion Pack - C

A 3-piece expansion set for the harbour mole set GHS-M1 above.

This expansion set contains -

1 x octagonal platform base 50mm square x 12mm high

1 x 37mm round x 18mm high round tower "base"

1 x generic Medieval round tower 30mm diameter x 42mm high with trapdoor to roof, and an arched doorway.  The roof depicts a "lantern beacon" giving a total height of 45mm for the tower section.

The central, round base has external steps & 4 "firing port" windows

GHS-T1xD Generic Harbour Light Towers Set - Expansion Pack - D

A 3-piece expansion set for the harbour mole set GHS-M1 above.

This expansion set contains -

1 x octagonal platform base 50mm square x 12mm high

1 x 37mm round x 18mm high round tower "base"

1 x generic post-Renaissance (i.e. Tudor through Napoleonic wars) round tower 28mm diameter (plus steps) x 32mm high with long external staircase  to roof, and a square doorway.  The roof depicts a "lantern beacon" giving a total height of 45mm for the tower section.

The roof section is large enough to mount one small cannon.

The central, round base has external steps & 4 "firing port" windows
