STYLE NOVELTY ARMY GALLERY
A
small army painted, and sold through eBay
Wargaming
is fun - Ve haf vays of making it FUN !
Don't
take it too seriously. If you catch yourself doing that, then it's time to
do something completely different, hence the army below was created for some
light relief.

Meet
.........
The
Knights of St. Nicholas
a.k.a.
"Santa's Soldiers"
We
all know that we have to be good little boys and girls when Christmas
approaches, if we're not then Santa won't come to visit us ......
but
there was a time when he would only visit us if we HAD been naughty
little princes and despots .........
Meet
Baron
Santa da Klawze and his command staff -
Brigadier
Banner,
Major
Hessitation,
and
Colonel Clary Nett
|
|
The Baron is naturally
followed around by his personal bodyguard - The Happy Halberdiers, though
no-one understands why they chose that banner - it sort of says
"shoot here - X marks the spot" |
| |
|
|
|
|
Baron
da Klawze is a very busy man and especially during the winter
campaigning season he has to rely a lot on his deputies . . .
.
|
 |
.
. . One of his most important staff members is the Faerie Queen
of Treetop Towers - She rides around on her white horse (it saves
wear & tear on the wings) and organises the mounted crowd.
|
|
Another
important bunch are the "Chargehands" of the toy
factory - they got quite good at making tight turns, on horseback,
between rows of toy machines, but had to add some leather barding around
their horses - for the protection of the production staff - dwarves
heads are just the right height to get a neddy knee-cap in the nose -
and we all know that dwarves already have redder shnozzes that Rudolph.. |
 |
|
Now
it should be understood that not all is happiness and light in the da
Klawze domain. Problems do occur with the likes of grumpy dwarves,
or with erotic elves getting it on in public places ......... therefore
Baron Santa conducted a survey of all his citizens and decided a
policing force was needed, after a long deliberation over a cauldron of
hot-toddied egg-nog, he decided upon ......

The
Gendarnerie of the Gnomery
a.k.a
"The
Dragged-on Dragoons" |
|
|
 |
|
Of
course - it's all very well having lots of "pretty boyz" on
horseback, but when a reall man is called for to infiltrate through a
chimney, Santa da Klawze is the first to admit he's more than the job
needs, he therefore retains several elite units of infiltrators, de-filterators,
and bribable standard traitors. These he loosely refers to as his .
. . . |
|
.
. . . Scummishers

|
|
|
Tough little
fellas they are and always in a tight spot, or should that be they can
get tight on a spot (of Christmas wine)? |
|
The last
and arguably most important group are the "Choppers and Loppers"
- when they go into battle, they're a tough bunch and have cleared many
a crowded tavern when "The Thirst" hits them. Carrying
both a musket, and either a two-handed axe or
halberd, they can clear away the discarded Crimbo Trees faster than Dad
can polish off the turkey carcass. |
|
|
 |
|
All
things considered, aren't you glad that Santa now only visits the good
children, and then only when he's in a good mood? Imagine what it
would be like if he was coming to punish you instead of give you gifts
and presents . . . perhaps he started the phrase "Present
Arms"?
