Candy Candle Wedding Favour Packs – back in stock

GazLanNaThai Candy Candle mixed colours in a pastel palette of pinks yellows blues and greens - more colours are availableJust in time for the mid-summer and early-autumn wedding season, our candle-maker from up north has returned to making a long-time GazLanNaThai favourite, and we’ve just had a huge bag of these popular “Candy Candles” delivered.

Mrs Gaz and I sat down about a year ago to go through the accounts to find out just how many of these little wonders we’d sold since introducing them to the world in mid-2003 … we gave up somewhere around the half million mark. What we did note is that you, our customers, have two distinctly favourite buying seasons for them.

The mid-year favourite buying period is from mid-May until mid-August, and many past customers have confirmed that they are for making wedding favours.  We’ve also had several professional wedding favour crafters buy them in bulk over the years, and you know that if the trade are buying them, they have to be good value, and popular with everyone involved with weddings.

GazLanNaThai Floating Candy Candles make great Christmas and wedding table décorWe noticed there’s also usually a short but frantic rush for these little beauties from mid-October to late-November.  We queried a few customers as to whether they were buying them for Christmas gifts.  Surprisingly, most said no, that they were buying them as floating candles for table decorations at Christmas parties.  The traditional candy shapes and colours, it seems, provides that essential finishing touch to the Yuletide décor.

As I said, we’ve just had a huge bag of them arrive and Mrs Gaz has been busy bagging them up into packs of 25 for faster picking and packing. We also supply them in smaller “trial” packs of 9 candles.  The current batch has all the usual candle shapes – round, square, triangular and flower-shaped.  It also has …a superb mix of deep blues, purples, greens and reds, together with bright pinks, yellow, oranges, and some baby-shade paler blues and pinks.  There’s even a new variation – mixes of white, black, and a silver grey.  As always, the colours you receive will be a completely random mix unless you place a special order for a minimum of 200 pieces, which we will then have made to order for you (allow an extra 7 to 10 days for this).

If you’re wanting to get your order in for your summer wedding or party, be quick, these never stay on the shelf very long, and you might have to wait a couple of extra days before despatch if we run out.  As always, even when choosing the faster Standard Airmail delivery, please allow around 21 days between payment and delivery – just in case of any unexpected delays.
