All our leaf skeletons are sterilised to remove insects (and their eggs), then hand dyed using a variety of stabilised, natural, vegetable dyes, similar to those used in our cotton and silk fabric ranges. The resultant product is acid and lignin free, yielding archival quality beauty. The colours are stable when stored away from direct sunlight and UV sources.

The leaves are harvested from eco-friendly, sustainable sources that include rubber plantations and temple courtyards.

Traditionally used in the west for arts & crafts projects (including card-making), leaf skeletons are now being appreciated as home decor items, and as components for decorative furnishings.
