Hom Aroi is a product branding drawn from the Thai-language phrase translating as "smells delicious" that also implies clean and healthy food.

The Hom Aroi brand was initiated by GazLanNaThai in 2004 for use with food ingredients that are grown organically, and harvested by smallholding farmers who have to balance meagre land resources for both cash-crop and subsistence-crop farming. When you buy Hom Aroi products, you contribute to reducing poverty and to providing sustainable income for remote communities, some of which were previously dependant of opium poppy cultivation.

Commercially milled products, such as some of the curry mixes marketed, are only given the Hom Aroi branding where the milling company guarantees adherence to the same fair trading principles that we set for ourselves.
