Hom Aroi is a product branding drawn from the Thai-language phrase translating as "smells delicious" that also implies clean and healthy food. The brand was initiated by GazLanNaThai in 2004 for use with food ingredients that are grown organically, and harvested by smallholding farmers who have to balance meagre land resources for both cash-crop and subsistence-crop farming.

Hom Aroi herbal teas & infusions are sourced from these smallholding farmers, contributing to poverty reduction and sustainable income for remote ethnic-minority communities.

Our "regular" traditional teas, in both "Green" (unfermented) and "Black" (fermented) varieties, are also grown and processed here in Northern Thailand, but normally on plantations created by organisations such as the Royal Projects Foundation. The RPF provides income & employment for ethnic-minority agricultural communities, which were previously dependant on opium-poppy cultivation in the Golden Triangle region. We also supply locally grown coffees, processed and packaged under the local producer's brands, many of whom opened plantations for the same reasons. Additionally we now stock specialist teas (e.g. Ginseng Tea) imported from South West China, home to many of the same ethnic minority groups that inhabit Northern Thailand.

All Hom Aroi branded herbal teas, herbs, and spices are available in several pack sizes from 50-gram (2-ounce) convenience packs, to 500-gram catering/family packs, and 1 Kg wholesale packs.
